Flarebook records what happened — when an attack started, how bad it got, what you took and what it might have been. It does not diagnose, does not suggest medication, does not measure anything and does not predict tomorrow. It is not a medical device and is not a substitute for your clinician.

Where is my data? On your device, and in your own private iCloud if iCloud is on. There is no Flarebook server and no account, so there is nothing for us to look up on your behalf.
What is the dark screen? A pure black screen with amber text, three large buttons, no animation and no haptics, for when a normal screen is unbearable. Hold the main button on the first tab to open it, or add the Lock Screen widget.
Why does the insights screen say there is not enough data? Because there is not. Patterns need at least ten attacks with a start time before they mean anything, and Flarebook would rather show you a counter than invent a trigger.
What is the medication day counter? It counts the days each month you took acute medication and compares that to the published ICHD-3 thresholds, so you can raise it with your doctor. It is not a diagnosis, and you should never change or stop a medication because of a number in an app.
How do I cancel a subscription? Settings app → your name → Subscriptions, or open apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancelling never locks your entries.
How do I get my data out? Settings → Your data → Export everything (CSV), and the 30-day doctor report as a PDF. Both are free and always will be.

Flarebook does not collect your data.
Everything you enter — attacks, days, symptoms, triggers, medications, notes — is stored on your device. If iCloud is enabled, that data syncs through your own private iCloud database, which Apple provides and which the developer cannot read.
There is no account, no login and no server operated by this app. There is no third-party analytics SDK, no advertising SDK and no crash reporter that sends your content anywhere.
If you turn the weather feature on, only a city name and a pressure reading are stored. Your coordinates are never saved.
If you allow Health access, sleep and cycle data are read live and shown on screen. They are never written into the app's own store and therefore never copied to iCloud.
Purchases are handled by Apple. The subscription service used to check whether a purchase is active (RevenueCat, Inc.) receives an anonymous identifier and the purchase receipt from Apple. It never receives anything you have logged.
What you log is health information and is treated as such: never sold, never shared with advertisers or data brokers, never used to build a profile of you, and never used to train any model.
Flarebook will never send you a marketing notification. The only notifications it can send are the daily reminder you switch on yourself.
Flarebook is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Reminders are a convenience, not a guarantee. Notification delivery depends on your device and its settings.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings at any time. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, and renews within 24 hours before the end of the current period unless cancelled beforehand.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for how you use it. To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided as is, without warranty.
